ONYX MAKARIA FOX
They said if Hades were to have the ability to have a child again, they would be born with great power. After all the occurences with the rest of the gods, the suffering they faced, the wrath of the unwanted enemy, Hades and Persephone deserved to feel happiness. Most of the souls of the Underworld wished for a good path for them. As soon as Persephone announced that a daughter was on the way, Hecate organized an event to welcome her. The souls had already started giving her the title ‘princess’, as though Hades and Persephone were their King and Queen. This darkness of a Kingdom didn’t seem to be dreadful and unfortunate as the living described in the Upperworld. A lot of its qualities were nothing like the words written in mortal version of stories and articles. The Underworld was more peaceful than one could ever seen in their life. Because that’s what it is— most of the souls were brought to peace.A daughter named after a dark gemstone, whom they knew would blossom and bright like the flowers of spring. Onyx Makaria Fox possessed the powers from both of her parents. Some of those abilities only grew stronger as she ages. She was protected and loved by the souls—most especially in Asphodel. Even to the mortals she have met in the Upperworld. Zeus had tried to convince Hades to let his daughter enter a camp as part of their goal to protect demigods. But he refused to have Onyx leave his sight. He’d been overprotective of Persephone throughout the years; and he’d be more willing to do the same for his only daughter. The once bargain with the Fates took away his chance to have a child. Stories were untold on how he received it back, on how he and Persephone had done it. News came and had now long forgotten about the curiosity of people. Of the three gods, Onyx joined the line along with Perseus and Theseus. Although the tree’s considered confusing in its connections.Demigods could be anywhere, not only in Athens. More of them were around in Onyx’s generation and some of them became good and bad, neither of the faces in front of the divines. They inherited courage and power from the blood of their parents and ancestors. Maybe someway, the gods would know if the oracles can predict how they are in their society.Onyx moved out of Persephone’s mortal-like home a few years after graduating. She resembled her mother on how much she also liked the idea of how mortals lived. Going out to socialize, having a job even though it makes you work hours every day, ‘not old school’ as Hermes described, and it appeared to be in modern time. Some say Onyx was a copy of Persephone, and none wished for her to have Hades’s dark side. It could turn the entire world upside down next to any god’s raging wrath. The love and knowledge strived for books, and businesses, and all things warm and cozy. Apollo offered her lessons about shops in addition to her father’s expertise. The gods in this time owned businesses that mortals crave and give their support for. And so, Onyx had decided to open her book cafe. Persephone immediately gave her the fund as a start the first thing she heard of the idea. She sometimes stay at the cafe because its atmosphere gives a calm and soft feeling, one that could make her finish all articles due in one sitting. However the arrangement was, Onyx agreed to still go to the Underworld often. She welcomes the souls at the other side, guiding them to a blessed path. Those who lived with a good heart and a kind soul. While Thanatos points the others to the vicious path filled with agony and surrounding flames of fear. Onyx still lived there as a second home, playing games and spending the time with unsure souls in Asphodel, sharing days of radiance under the cruel world above. Onyx was given the title as the Goddess of Blessed Death, but similar to Persephone, she hid that identity from everyone. Those who knew about her parents would only know of her origin. She camouflages herself as a Demigod to avoid danger coming her way. She wanted to live a simple life—much like how mortals did. Another trail of words that came straight as if she was a copy of Persephone.
PRE-EST

Zenith, the ex-lover.
Even she didn’t see it coming. The Fates mendling with her relationships was the least she ever expected. Hearing the stories is one thing. But to actually see their own fate colliding and going to their ways, it isn’t as good. Onyx and Zenith spent a time together, until their fights and arguments went in between. They had a daughter named Melody, keeping her from her father until recently. Melody now lives with Zenith as Onyx kept her duties in the Underworld and Upperworld. Their contact was kept, friendship remained. Zenith often thinks and calls her a menace, just proves the bond they still have.

Cara, the love for matcha
Friendship over coffee is not usually new, but is a start of a new chapter together. Like Onyx, she saw Cara’s love for the drinks made for her– Especially Matcha. Each time she steps through the doors of the cafe, the staff would immediately tell Onyx that Cara had arrived, preparing already the goodness of freshly mixed matcha for her. One question would be, if it were to be a latte, affogato, or coffee she’ll have for the day.

Tori, the friend that seeked more than cozyness
Sorts of events passed between them, may they be for simple occasions relating to the business of the cafe, or charity that Onyx joined in as part of her father’s good side. Their relationship also began in a sip of the aromatic coffee, served in the middle of the spring day. Where leaves sprout just as beautifully as the sun had risen. They interacted more, exchanging creativity and passion in their conversations as the bond deepened.
